Uber driver

An Uber driver was last week Wednesday, September the 5th, robbed at gunpoint by some criminals in Lagos – according to the police, the driver got a ride request from the said men via the Uber app.

The police source which spoke to LIB, revealed that when the Uber driver arrived at the pickup location, the criminals boarded his vehicle, flashed their guns at him and took him to an ATM in Moloney street in Lagos Island where they feigned they wanted to steal from him.

They, however, did not take any money from his account, and instead forced him into the boot of his Toyota Corolla 2006 car with registration number GGE 740 ER.
