Wendy Shay has just lost a big celebrity fan, for reasons that she used Ebony’s name to hype her new song, ‘The Boy Is Mine.
Tv presenter, Bridget Otoo has in a Tweet stated that she’s no longer a fan of Wendy Shay because she used Ebony’s name to hype her new song.
On Sunday, October 14th, an audio started circulating on Social media which suggested that, Bullet had been sleeping with Wendy Shay and had been caught red-handed this time around by Bullet’s girlfriend.
In the said audio, the said girlfriend of Bullet is heard saying that, she’s surprised he’s sleeping with Wendy Shay as well after sleeping with the late Ebony Reigns who was also under his label, Rufftown Records.
Just yesterday, October 17 Wendy Shay dropped a new music video titled ‘The Boy Is Mine’ which featured female rapper Eno and in the first few seconds of the music video, the audio which had gone viral was played again, this time with a visual attached, although it was slightly different in terms of the words.
That suggested that the earlier audio was cooked by Rufftown Records in a bid to pull a publicity stunt to promote the new song and that’s what has disappointed the Bridget Otoo.
Bridget tweeted; “I am against anyone who insults you for being you. They are not fair to you but pls if the audio leak was a publicity stunt then you were very disrespectful towards the memory of Ebony. Her death is real. So don’t disrespect her name!!”
Then she tweeted again; ““You are using a very painful death of Ebony, to promote your album Wendy Shay! You just lost a fan.”
Well, Wendy Shay has lost a media personality as a fan. What do you think?
