At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.

Ashley planned to become a model, but her 5 feet 5 inches made it impossible, as she was told that she wasn’t tall enough to be a model, but she should focus more on acting in commercials.
After taking acting classes, she fell in love with it and soon preferred it over modeling.
At the start of her career, she appeared on the television program “Punk’d,” a television comedy reality show followed by an appearance in “Crossing Jordan.”
