Davido Charged To Court For 4 million naira Fraud.
Davido and his personal assistant are being sued for allegedly obtaining the sum of four million Naira from an upcoming American based Nigerian artist.
He was indicted in igbosere Magistrate Court 2 in Lagos.
According to court documents, Davido and his team allegedly collected money from one Andre- Tejiri Ochuko Ibhihwiori aka tjay.
Davido Charged To Court For N4m Fraud
The Money collected is a fee for Davido to feature in a musical collaboration with artist Tjay.
It was further alleged that Davido failed to make himself available for the collaboration.

The claimant is asking Davido and his team for 15 Percent interest on the four million Naira from the date of payment till the date he settles the debt.
The case first came up on the 23rd of May 2019 at the Magistrate Court.
Davido, his music label and his Personal Assistant were listed as the defendants in the case number MCL/702/19.
The defendants was however absent in the court.
The court however issued a legal document, requesting the defendants presence in court.
The case adjourned to the 23rd of August 2019 for commencement of trial
