Stress is your body’s reaction to a challenge or demand from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, nervous, or angry. It is a feeling of emotional or physical tension.

Research has shown that stress affects both mental and physical wellbeing and, if not properly managed, may cause harmful health effects.


We get stressed daily, either in school, at work, or even taking care of the family or a loved one. Your emotional and physical health is significant.

That’s why today, I will be sharing some helpful tips that can relieve the stress and get rid of the physical pain caused by it.

  • A Hot Shower


A warm bath can help relieve intense headaches caused by stress.

It releases endorphins and improves breathing which is something your body needs after a long day.

Additionally, it also helps blood sugar control and blood pressure, plus research has shown that taking an hour-long hot bath burns up to 140 calories.

  • A Foot Massage


Reflexology is the practice of stimulating specific zones of the hands and legs to relieve pain. It can help reduce body pain caused by stress.

All you need to do is drop a bit of body oil on your foot and Massage gently, move your thump from your heel to your toes and the arch. This method is known to be effective in relieving back pain better than an ordinary massage.

  • Face Massage


Stress can also cause tension which also affects the face. It may show as lip trembling, jaw pain, teeth grinding, or neck pain. Whatever the symptoms may be, a face massage can help in relieving tension.

To do this, apply few drops of any essential oil on your face and Massage. Move your fingers from your chin upward and massage your cheekbones and neck as well.

Before using any essential oil on your skin, ensure there won’t be any side effects, like drying out the skin, among others.

Inhaling scented oil or burning a scented candle can help relieve the feeling of stress and anxiety. It is because some scents are soothing and can improve your physical and mental condition.
