Lawrence Oyor’s Age
Almost everyone in Nigeria knows him as Lawrence Oyor, but his full name is Lawrence Gomba Oyor, and he was born on the 16th of June 1991 in a household that never joked with Christian virtues. Both of his parents are ministers in God’s vineyard. His father, Rev. Gomba Fortune Oyor, and his mother, Rev. Patience Oyor, are pastors and founders of God Will Do It Ministries.
When it comes to issues about church-related activities, their parents never joked about it. Lawrence has three siblings. Their names are Godswill ( his twin brother with whom he shares a special bond), Michael, and Wisdom.

Education
Lawrence undertook his secondary school education at Shalom College, located in the city of Ibadan, and subsequently graduated. After his graduation, he got admitted into the University of Ibadan to study Law, before eventually graduating from the university in 2013.
Lawrence didn’t stop there; he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, located in Yola Campus, where he obtained the qualifications to practice Law.
Even though Lawrence was already grounded in the field of Law, he still felt that he had a higher calling.
Lawrence had a strong feeling that he was being called by God. To answer this call, he made a decision in 2016 to attend the Texas Bible Institute in the United States. This allowed him to get a deeper understanding of the Bible. After completing his studies at the institute, he received his certificate and decided to transition fully from his legal career into music ministry.

After completing his studies at the Bible institute in the United States, he returned to Nigeria to start his ministry, and this time, he collaborated with his twin brother, Godswill. Together, they started “Davidic Minstrels,” a worship group that helps spread revival through worship songs and chants with deep spiritual lyrics.

One of his chants that became popular back in the day was “Bowls of Fire”, a piece which is still being sung in some churches today.

The ministry of Lawrence Oyor is not just about music alone; he is also into leadership and mentorship, which is why he established “Catalyst Network International (CNI)”. CNI is a group that was created to foster a life of prayer and revival, most especially for young people.
You might think Lawrence and his brother stopped there, but they didn’t. As 2021 rolled in, they launched a new establishment called the “Davidic Generation Church,” which is a community of believers that come together to build on their passion for the things of God. Lawrence Oyor has also created a platform named “Lawrence Oyor Mentorship Platform,” which is a platform that is tailored to help people grow spiritually, in increasing their love for God.

On a fateful day in October 2020, Lawrence Oyor got married to the love of his life, Darasimi Mike Bamiloye. This lady also happens to be the daughter of the popular Christian filmmakers, Mike and Gloria Bamiloye. The duo welcomed their first child, Elijah Lawrence Oyor, in 2021.
