Herdsmen allegedly kill 67 years old woman in Enugu
Suspected herdsmen allegedly raped and killed a 67 years old woman identified as Regina Mba.
The incident happened in Nchatacha – Nike in Enugu.
The incident ignites a protest in the community as the Enugu-Abakaliki highway was blocked causing traffic for hours.
The military personnel were deployed immediately to ensure the protest doesn’t lead to violent.
It was gathered that the victim was raped and stabbed many times in a farm at Nchatacha – Nike.
The police officers were called and the body of the victim has been deposited in the mortuary of the annunciation hospital.
Meanwhile, Miyetti-Allah Cattle Breeders Association, MACBAN, in Enugu state, has denied that the killing was perpetuated by herdsmen.
