He is the host of the top-rated A.Y. live shows, and he equally produces short comedy skits. He has made a name for himself in the Nigerian entertainment world and equally has international recognition.

As we mentioned earlier, AY was born on the 19th of August 1971, and he attended Delta State University, Abraka, in Delta state Nigeria to study Theatre Arts.

He graduated from the university in 2003 after spending nine years as an undergraduate. AY started making waves since he was in school.

In 1999 and 2000, he won the awards for the most fashionable student on campus.

He was equally recognized as the best show-biz promoter on campus in 2001. Furthermore, he won the prize for the most celebrated student on campus in 2001.

Jaycee Club gave him a socio-personality award in 2003. AY had a good time while at the university.

He once worked as the personal assistance and event manager to Alibaba Akporobome upon graduation from the university.

AY is a columnist on The Sun Newspaper and Laugh Mattaz, owned by Gbenga Adeyinka. AY has acted in several movies and also directed films.

One of his works is AY’s Crib, a sitcom featuring Justice Nuagbe, Buchi Franklin, Venita Akpofure, and Alex Ekubo.

AY Live remains one of the largest comedy shows in Africa, and AY hosts it. The comedy show features comedians from all over Nigeria, including Basketmouth, Helen Paul, Akpororo, Bovi.

Additionally, AY is the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment, Nigeria. He equally runs a clubhouse.

AY is an investor in stand-up comedy and has helped so many upcoming comedians have a platform to showcase their talents to the world.

The platform created by AY for this purpose is called Open Mic Challenge.

Furthermore, AY was a co-host at the 2018 edition of the Golden Movie Awards Africa with Joselyn Dumas, and the event was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra, Ghana. Some of the movies he had featured in are:
