Foluke Daramola-Salako was born on February 15, 1978, in Ekiti State, Nigeria.

Career
Foluke Daramola debuted as an actress in 1998 with the movie series “Palace .”She later starred in the movies “Above Love” and Durodola.
Subsequently, she produced her film titled “Cobweb,” which became a commercial success and earned her the Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2013 African Movie Academy Awards.
According to the actress, the movie was inspired by her life experiences, stating that her parents didn’t want her involved in acting while still in school.

Foluke didn’t have a smooth time growing up. In an interview held in 2016, she revealed that she was raped when she was a teenager. It inspired her Action Against Rape movement.

In 2005, she got married to Tunde Sobowale. Unfortunately, the marriage hit the rocks, and the duo got separated in 2008 on the grounds of domestic violence.
However, she found love again and remarried in 2013 to Kayode Salako. The couple is still going strong to date, and the union is blessed with two children.
