Louis André Charles Marie Velle, popularly called Louis Velle, was born on May 29, 1929, in Paris, France, to French parents André Marie Charles Velle and Marguerite Louise Lye.
Louis was trained at the Conservatory and at Cours Simon, a benchmark in the world of training for performing art and film.

The professional actor and article writer began his career in Cinema but was revealed to the French public on Television.
His first movie appearance was in L’Abonné de la ligne U, in 1965.
In the 1970s, he acted in the films La Demoiselle d’Avignon, L’Homme qui Retour de loin, and Docteur Caraibes, which set the path to his being widely known and lots of appraisal for his excellent acting skills.
Years later, he appeared in a soap opera, La demoiselle d’Avignon. He and fellow actor Marthe Keller chose a perfect set of actors and excellently delivered the soap opera to viewers.
He starred in Un Mari alongside his wife Frederique Hebrand, an excellent combination for the movie role.
In 1979 he still co-starred with his wife Frederique in the movie A Husband is a Husband by Serge Friedman.
Between 1951 and 1996, Louis has appeared in 25 films. Few years down the line, Louis returned to screen with the soap opera The Ambassadors Husband, co-written by his son François Velle and gotten from his wife’s novel.
