Cheval Blanc St-Emilion is a world-class vintage wine that sold in 2006 for $135,125.

It is one of the two wines granted Class A in the Saint-Emilion Classification of wine. It is said that 110,000 bottles were produced, but only a few managed to survive.

The Cheval Blanc St-Emilion is considered the most delicate Cheval Blanc by the best sommeliers globally, and it is notable for its luxurious texture and sensual flavor.

The entire case of the Cros Parantoux was sold for $135,9555 at the Christie’s wine sale in Hong Kong.

The wine was produced in the Burgundy wine region in France. It is the ninth most expensive wine in the world.

The vintage Chateau Lafite is said to have the initials ThJ etched into the glass, which many claim stands for Thomas Jefferson’s cellar.

Thomas is known for his love and passion for wine. The wine is also dubbed the most expensive standard bottle of wine globally.

It was purchased in 1985 by publisher tycoon Malcolm Forbes.

  1. Ampoule from Penfolds

Price– $168,000

The ampoule was released by Penfolds, South Australia’s most famous winery.

The wine represents the brand’s reputation; hence it has little or no history.

To taste the wine, you’ll need to break off a small piece of wood, which is said to be an experience even before tasting it.

Its original value was $500,000, but unfortunately, a waiter knocked over the wine during the Margaux dinner in a Four Season Hotel.

While at an auction in Hong Kong, auctioneers anticipated the bottle of wine would go for about $8,000, but they were surprised when an anonymous Asian bidder claimed it for $230,000.

The Chateau Lafite is considered rare, so many bidders were willing to spend much money to get their hands on this bottle.

The wine Shipwrecked comes with an exciting history surrounding it.

It is said that a ship carrying the wine in 1916 was torpedoed by a German Submarine in World War One, which caused it to sink to the bottom of the ocean.

The wreckage was discovered in 1997, over 80 years later, and 2,000 bottles were eventually saved.

Therefore drinking this wine means drinking a piece of history.

The Cheval Blanc is considered the best Bordeaux ever made; it was sold to an anonymous buyer at an auction for $303,375.

Furthermore, Chateau Cheval Blanc is one of the most prestigious winemakers globally, seeing as they are recipients of the exclusive Premier Grand Cru Classes (A) rank in the Saint Emilion wine classification of 2012.

The wine originates from one of the wealthiest families on earth; therefore, the price tag shouldn’t be a surprise.

The label shows symbolism of the victory at the Allied forces during the Second World War. In addition, the wine is tagged as one of the best vintages of the last hundred years.

If you’d like to have a taste of this wine, but you can’t afford a bottle, then you can try a glass, which goes for $8,631.

Even though the Screaming Eagle Cabernet isn’t ancient, it has topped several lists of the most expensive wines globally.

Eventually, it was sold in the year 2000 at a charity auction.

The wine has aged in 60% new oak tree and has the lovely aroma of blackcurrants and a trace of oak. It also comes in an opaque purple appearance.

The Screaming Eagle Cabernet currently stands as the most expensive wine globally; it is valued at half a million dollars.
