Shank Comics’ real name is Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel. He was born on the 23rd of March, 1997, in the city of Iwajowa, located in Oyo State, Nigeria. Even though he was born in Oyo State, he spent most of his early years in Olambe, located in Ogun State.

His primary school education was undertaken at Goodness and Mercy Private School. This school is located in Ogun State. He later moved to Lagos, where he undertook his secondary school education at Lagos State Model College.

After his secondary school education, he enrolled at Obafemi Awolowo University to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

This course required a lot of focus and academic prowess. Despite the stress that came with the course, Shank didn’t mind and decided to start his career in comedy by creating memes. He was popular on campus and later got recognized as the “Best Student Comedian”.
