She is one of the most impressive Nigerian musicians out there today. She even has international recognition. Her stage name is Simi, but her full name is Simisola Kosoko (nee Ogunleye).

She was born on the 19th of April 1988. Simi is one of the most popular songwriters and singers around today. She equally ventures into acting.

Since she came to the limelight, she has released several songs and has become a household name in the Nigerian music industry.

As we mentioned earlier, her full name is Simisola Kosoko, and she was born in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, Ojuelegba, to be precise.

Simi is the last of four children of her parents. However, her parents separated when she was at the tender age of 9 years old.

After graduating from Stars International College, in Ikorodu, Lagos, she got admission into Covenant University to study Mass Communication.

Her musical career started when she was still very young. She wrote her first song at the age of 10. We must equally mention that she was a member of her local church choir when she was still young.

Simi tied the nuptial cord with Adekunle Gold in January 2019, and the marriage is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
