Xandy got married on May 14th 2020, to her partner, Nana Kwaku Mensah Kaninja, at Paloma hotel. The wedding ceremony was witnessed by family and very few friends as there was a ban on public gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Xandy is known for fighting other Ghanaian celebrities. In a video going viral online, Kumawood actress Xandy Kamel said Akuapen Poloo slept with different men while shooting a Kumasi project.
The fight between the two started after Kamel, and Tracey Boakye accused Akuapen Poloo of conspiring with an Instagram blogger not to promote the Baby Mama Movie.
In another incident, Xandy claimed she doesn’t know the father of my kids.
The Kumawood actress made the shocking and questionable revelation during an interview; her revelation has taken social media by storm, as many believed it’s one of her jokes.
“I only know I have three biological kids and six adopted kids, but I don’t know my children’s father,” she said.
