Yusef had three children, the oldest was his daughter named Yetunde Price, who was a registered nurse until her untimely death.
Her name “Yetunde” is significant as it is adopted from the Yoruba culture.
Yetunde means “Mother has come Back”, and was born on August 9, 1972, in Saginaw, Michigan, the United States of America.
She was killed on September 14, 2003, in Compton California, United States.
Her murder sent waves of shock across California as it was reported, she was shot in the head while she was sitting in her SUV. Her boyfriend didn’t realize she had been shot until he arrived at a relative’s house.
His second child is Isha Price, she was born in 1975. Isha was well educated, she is a producer and a lawyer.

She earned her law degree from the prestigious Law school at Georgetown University.
After she qualified as a lawyer, Isha proceeded to Howard University where she earned a master’s degree in business administration.
Meanwhile, Yusef’s youngest child is Lyndrea Price, she was born in 1978, three years after the birth of Isha.
She started her career as a model before being employed by a Technology company “Lezchat” where she works as their creative executive.

Yusef Rasheed’s death
Yusef died in his house in 1979 of a sudden heart stroke. He left behind his three young daughters and their mother Oracene Price.
The aftermath of Yusef Rasheed’s death
After Rasheed’s death, 27 years old Oracene moved on quickly, she started dating Richard Williams and they got married in 1980.
Meanwhile, in 1980, Oracene gave birth to the couple’s child, a daughter named Venus Williams, a year after she tied the knot to Williams, the couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Serena Williams on September 26, 1981.
Oracene is not Richard’s first wife, Richards was previously married to Berry Johnson.
They were married from 1965 to 1973 when their marriage ended in divorce. Richard and Johnson share five children, three sons, and two daughters.
Unfortunately, Yusef’s first daughter, Yetunde was murdered by Compton Crisp’s gang members in a case of mistaken identity.
She was shot in the head in her SUV while she was talking to her boyfriend outside a crack house. The gang members thought Yetunde was a member of a rival gang.
