1000 Nigerians register for evacuation
At least 1000 Nigerians have expressed for removal from South Africa amidst xenophobia.
187 Nigerians arrived in Lagos on the 11 of September 2019.
The Federal Government revealed that N40,00 worth of airtime would be given to the returnees, as well as N10,000 for transport.
The next plane to evacuate stranded Nigerians will leave South Africa on the 14 of September 2019

Armed South Africans were seen a few days ago chatting different types of war songs in Johannesburg.

Air peace had shown interest to fly stranded Nigerians back home.
According to the letter, Air peace said they could not fold their hands and watch South Africans kill fellow Nigerians.
The airline asked the federal government to inform the Nigerian embassy and South African government to transport stranded Nigerians to the airport to allow air peace evacuate them to Nigeria.
The letter signed by the airline chief operating officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, states that the airline is ready to deploy B77 aircraft immediately to fly Nigerians back home.
Meanwhile, Thabo Mbeki has dismissed reports that South Africans are targeting Nigerians in the recent xenophobic attacks.
