She was discovered by George Gallier, who managed her modeling career exclusively at Prestige Models in Paris, France.
George later moved to New York City to start American Model Management, where he managed her career until 1991.
Her fame began in the early 1980s, from the first “Guess” clothing campaign, shot by Wayne Mazer.

After that, she shot several covers for American Vogue, American Elle, Cartier, Lord & Taylor, Samsung, Christian Dior, among others.

After 12 years of marriage to Hallyday, Estelle found love and later married a French TV and radio host in 2004.
Like the first marriage, the union ended with a divorce in 2008. Estelle is currently linked to Pascal Ramette, with whom she had a son in 2010.
