FIFA had banned Samson Siasia for life over match-fixing
Former Nigeria national team footballer and former national team football coach Samson Siasia was found guilty of match-fixing two weeks ago.
Samson Siasia was also fined CHF 50,000 following the ethics proceedings.
The investigation started on February 11, 2019, against the former football star.
He was banned for life for match-fixing by FIFA after former Sierra Leone official, Abu Bakar Kabba and former Botswana FA official Mookestsi Kgotlele were suspended for five years.
According to reports, Siasia appealed FIFA’s decision to ban him for life and the CHF 50,000 fine to CAS in Switzerland.

Nigerians set MTN offices on fire in Lagos
One of MTN offices was set ablaze this morning by angry protesters, protesting the killing and attack of Nigerians in South Africa.
Three Nigerians were killed yesterday during an attack on Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa.
One of the people killed was burned alive.
The attack on foreigners started on Sunday morning, where angry mobs stormed foreign businesses and Loot.
The attacks are believed to have been carried out by the Zulu hostel dwellers.
One of the Nigerian businesses affected was a Nigerian car dealer, whereby his companies were set ablaze.
The attack spread across the second day before the security operatives got involved, dispersing the angry Mob.
Meanwhile, the leader of South African Economic Freedom Fighters, EFF, in a statement, condemned the attack.
He said whether you are from South Africa or Zimbabwe, this is your home. He, therefore, calls for an end to self-hate. He said, Africa, we are one, Nigerians are our brothers.
