Soon after they met, the pair started living in Maryland and started their romantic journey moving in together.

The couple was in love and happy together. They decided to go to Las Vegas, Nevada on April 8, 2006, to watch the boxing match between Zab Judah and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In 2013, Idris Elba received the devastating news of the death of his father. Winston died in 2013 of Lung Cancer at the age of 72.
