After high school, Katie enrolled at the University of Louisville, and she continued playing Volleyball in the Louisville Cardinals women’s volleyball team.

Due to how good she was, Katie received many accolades in Volleyball.

She eventually graduated from the university with a degree in communications and a minor in sports administration in 2015.

Career

In 2015, Katie crowned Miss Kentucky, USA. She later represented the state at Miss USA 2015.

She advanced to the competition’s semifinals and eventually moved into the top eleven through fans’ votes. However, the match was won by Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma.

After completing her bachelor’s degree, Katie began working as a reporter at WDRB virtual channel 41, a Fox-affiliated television station licensed in Louisville, Kentucky.

Subsequently, she joined Fox Sports Wisconsin, covering the Milwaukee Bucks for the NBA 2018–2019 season. In 2019, she became a part of ACC Network, which was then new.

Her career in ACC began after serving as a sideline reporter for the Milwaukee Bucks and was contacted by Patrick Donaher, ESPN’s senior talent evaluator.

He pitched her on the ACC job, and after auditioning, she got the job. To date, she still holds the position of a sideline reporter and anchor at the ACC Network.

Katie has also covered some college football games for ESPN.
