Tuface Idibia Bio: Age, Personal Life, Children, Wife, Net Worth


The music icon, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or 2baba, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, an entrepreneur and Philanthropist. He was born
on 18th September, 1975, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

He is from the Idoma tribe in Benue State in central Nigeria. He attended Mount Saint Gabriel Secondary School in Makurdi before proceeding to study Business Administration at the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu (IMT), is located in Enugu State.

Tuface Idibia’s Music Career

During 2baba’s time at the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu (IMT), his music career began. He started performing alongside Blackface Naija, who was also his classmate, and Faze, all of whom later formed the trio Plantashun Boiz.

The band released two albums, Body and Soul (2000) and Sold Out (2003), under Dove Records, a label owned by Nelson Brown. Four years after the band separated, 2Baba returned to producing solo music.

Tuface’s first solo album after separating from the band is Face 2 Face (2004). The album was positively reviewed by music critics and was listed as “the greatest Nigerian debut album of the 21st Century by a solo artist”.

Soon after, 2baba released his second album, Grass 2 Grace (2006). After that, he left Kennis Music and established his own record label, Hypertek Digital.

In 2009, he released an experimental album, The Unstoppable, with an international edition in 2010. The international edition won two awards at the 2010 Sound City Music Video Awards.

Tuface Idibia’s Children

The super-talented singer Tuface Idibia presently has seven children from three different women: Sumbo Adeoye, Pero Adeniyi, and Annie Macaulay.

Out of three baby mamas, 2Baba legally married Annie Macaulay before marrying Annie. Tuface already had six children out of wedlock; the seventh, Olivia, was the one he had after he married Annie.

The couple already had their first daughter before their marriage.

• Nino Idibia

2baba’s first child, Nino, was born in 2006. His mother is Sumbo Adeoye. Nino was a student at
Christland School, Lagos, Nigeria. He is already following his father’s footsteps. Having mastered the use of musical instruments, such as saxophones.

In 2016, he was given the opportunity to showcase his trumpet skills in one of his stepfather’s church programs.

In the same year, the school inducted him as the music prefect, and he emerged as the best music prefect on his school graduation day. He is also a soccer enthusiast, a model and an Instagram enthusiast.

• Zion Idibia

Zion Idibia was born on the 29th of April 2008. He is the second son and the third child of Tuface, whom he had with Sumbo Adeoye. He is schooling with his elder brother in the United States of America.

• Ehi Benzin Rose Idibia

Ehi Benzin was born on the 22nd of April 2006. She is Baba’s first daughter, second child and first child of Pero Adeniyi. She was named after the singer’s mother, Mrs Rose Idibia. She is still pursuing her academics, and the young girl has an Instagram account.

• Justin Agaba Idibia

Justine was born on the 7th of May, 2008. He is Tufase’s third son and first son with Pero Adeniyi. Justin was schooled in the United States of America, and recently received an award for academic brilliance, the Black Student Achievement Award, which made his parents proud

• Innocent Oluwakiitan Idibia

Innocent was born on the 8th of April 2013. He is Tuface’s sixth child and last child with Pero Adeniyi. He presently lives with his mother in the United States of America.

• Isabella Idibia

Isabella is 2baba’s second daughter and the fifth child he had with Annie Macaulay. She was born on the 10th of December, 2008.

Isabella has already gained some fame; she is the most famous among the children. The young star follows her mother’s footsteps as an actress; she has also backed many endorsement deals.

In 2018, the annual charity event “Work for Kids” signed her as a brand ambassador. Furthermore, she has won numerous academic awards, including the Star Speaker of the Year award. Diction and Spelling Students, Best Sports Students, a couple of gold medals and three Bronze medals in swimming.

• Olivia Idibia

Olivia was born on the third of January, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States of America. She is still receiving her basic education in one of the prestigious schools in Lagos, and Tuface’s seventh child.

Olivia made headlines some time ago after she was admitted to the hospital to undergo leg surgery. The surgery was successful, and the little girl has recovered.

According to her mother, Annie, Olivia has had many health challenges but has been a brave fighter. Tuface has been a great father to all his children; he makes time for them and shares equal cordial relationships with them all.
